This is pure peak early-2000s comic collector energy â and I absolutely love it for that. đ
Massive holofoil finish.
Chrome sparkle everywhere.
Anime/mecha-inspired design.
Classic Top Cow style turned all the way up.
The Speckle Holofoil effect is wild in person. Every angle catches light differently, giving the entire cover this shimmering metallic glow that photos honestly donât fully capture.
And the design itself still holds up surprisingly well. The clean silver backdrop mixed with the futuristic armor aesthetic gives it that perfect blend of cyberpunk and anime influence that was everywhere during that era.
Books like this are such a cool reminder of when publishers were experimenting with every kind of foil, chromium, holographic, and specialty printing technique imaginable.
Not a major key.
Not a mainstream grail.
But absolutely one of those niche collector pieces that stands out instantly in a display case.
And with only 300 copies produced, finding one already slabbed in a CGC 9.8 definitely makes this a fun piece of comic history to own.
