Now THIS is exactly why I love independent comics and homage variants.
It takes one of the most iconic comic covers ever created and completely twists it into pure Lady Death chaos.
Instead of Spider-Man swinging through New York, we get Lady Death soaring across the skyline with that massive flowing cape, while still keeping the classic visual composition instantly recognizable.
And honestly? It works way better than it probably should.
The fake vintage comic styling, the Coffin Code Authority box, the over-the-top “666¢” price joke… all of it feels like a love letter to comic history while still fully embracing the wild energy Lady Death books are known for.
And with only 150 copies produced, these don’t exactly show up every day.
Independent books like this are such a huge part of what keeps collecting fun for me. Sometimes it’s not about first appearances or giant keys — sometimes it’s just about owning something unique, creative and beautifully ridiculous.
And this one absolutely checks all those boxes.
