For those unfamiliar with the story, Rising Stars follows 113 children who gain extraordinary abilities after a mysterious celestial event. Rather than focusing on a single hero, the series explores how society, politics, fear, power, and human nature evolve when an entire generation of super-powered individuals grows up together.
Long before shared cinematic universes became the norm, Straczynski was building an interconnected superhero saga that felt mature, grounded, and surprisingly realistic.
What makes this copy special is the cover itself.
The holographic effect gives the mysterious celestial object a glowing, almost cosmic energy that changes depending on how the light hits it. Combined with the incredibly low limitation of only 99 copies, this is the kind of independent comic collectible that rarely appears in the wild.
