Ghosted was such a cool concept when it launched.
Take a classic heist setup, throw in haunted mansions, ghosts and supernatural horror, and somehow make it feel like Ocean’s Eleven crossed with The Conjuring.
And this sketch cover absolutely fits that vibe perfectly.
The heavy black shadows, the stark white contrast and the old-school noir composition make it feel less like a comic cover and more like a vintage horror movie poster. The ghostly figures and burning silhouettes in the background add just enough creepiness without overcrowding the art.
Honestly, these Skybound anniversary sketch editions continue to surprise me with how classy they look slabbed. Minimalist covers like this tend to stand out way more in person than flashy modern covers loaded with effects.
