This era of Marvel was absolutely loaded with flashy collectible editions, and honestly… I still love them.
Say what you want about the gimmick-cover age, but these chromium books have a presence when they’re slabbed. The colors explode under light, and Pérez packed this cover with pure Avengers energy.
And speaking of Pérez… few artists could make a team book feel this alive. Every character feels in motion, every inch of the cover has detail, and the wraparound format gives it that huge event-style feel.
This isn’t a major key in the traditional sense, but it is one of those beautiful late-90s collector pieces that perfectly captures the era. And finding one sitting at a CGC 9.9 Mint definitely makes it stand out in the collection.
