Join Vipps as our new People Partner!

We're looking for a People Partner to support our Technology & Platform organisation while driving AI adoption in the People team and contributing to how we work with AI across Vipps MobilePay.

A quick intro to where we are:

Vipps is entering a very, very important phase. Since we got started 11 years ago, we've joined forces with our Danish-Finnish equivalent, MobilePay. We're now one Nordic company (called Vipps MobilePay), and together we have a strong position in the Nordics. Vipps and MobilePay are trusted brands with services that millions of people use (and enjoy using).

At the same time, the market is moving fast, competition is increasing and user expectations are rising. Last but not least: AI is changing how services are built, and how people work together.

This naturally raises the bar for the People area. And this is where we hope you come into play.

What is this role about?

This specific People Partner role at Vipps MobilePay is a newly created position. The role will have three clear responsibilities:

1. Be a People Partner for the Technology & Platform department.
2. Lead AI adoption within the People team.
3. Contribute to AI adoption across our company.

This is a role that leans heavily into tech. That doesn't mean you have to identify as a pure AI specialist. Rather, we hope you're someone who can cut through the buzz to identify what drives real results and business outcomes.

You'll help us move from experimentation to practical use. You'll identify high-value opportunities, improve workflows in the People team, and act as our team's AI champion and representative in the company's broader AI transformation.

You'll work closely with teams across our company to bring a human lens to how we adopt AI.

As the Tech & Platform People Partner, you will contribute through leadership development, skills development, workforce planning, role design, leadership support, and helping change stick in practice.

The goal, of course, is for everyone to collaborate well, and to have the best AI tools and conditions to keep making very, very easy products that people love.

Who do we think will love this role?

You'll love this role if you have some experience working as a People Partner, HR Business Partner, or in a similar in-house role. Ideally, you've even worked in a techy, high-growth environment. You're comfortable working closely with leaders and challenge them when needed.

And, since our company culture is built on people sometimes wearing "different hats", we think you enjoy both strategic thinking and being hands-on.

Where will I be working?

You'll be based in our offices in either Copenhagen or Oslo. Either works. We hope you enjoy working mainly in the office and that your schedule allows for occasional visits to our Aarhus, Oslo, and Helsinki offices.
