Tunable is a Norwegian deep-tech company developing next-generation multi-gas sensing instruments. We deliver real-time data and insights that help industrial customers reduce emissions, improve efficiency, and reduce waste across multiple applications. Our solutions are built on our own patented sensor technology and proven to deliver high-quality gas data in demanding industrial environments. Through our work we are expanding the information universe, with the world’s most accessible digital nose technology, turning invisible gases into valuable data. Due to international growth, we are expanding our business development team and are looking for a business development manager.
The role
As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in accelerating Tunable’s international growth. You will identify opportunities, develop commercial strategies, and drive deals from first contact to signed orders. You’ll work closely with our business and technical teams to ensure product-market fit and commercial readiness. Work location is Oslo.
Responsibilities
Identify business opportunities and close deals with customers and partners
Commercialize new product offerings: from forming go-to-market plans to execution and through to signing of partner agreements and orders
Develop, test and establish new business and new revenue models
Contribute to product strategy and drive product development by translating customer needs into clear requirements and roadmaps
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D and technical teams to secure product-market fit through customer testing and iteration
Drive and support marketing initiatives (campaigns, content, events) to build demand and generate qualified leads
Your profile
Master’s degree in engineering and/or business (relevant experience can compensate for formal education)
Experience from management consulting and/or strategy & business development in a B2B technology company or start-up is a strong plus
Commercial and strategic mindset with a hands-on, execution-driven approach
Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working in a fast-moving environment
Strong commercial drive and an ability to close deals and grow revenue
Outgoing, proactive, and pragmatic — with a “can do” attitude
