About the role
Corporate Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (Q&R) is a support function organized as a part of the CEO’s staff. The key responsibility for the Q&R team is to manage the Laerdal Management System and to obtain market clearance for Laerdal Products.
We have an opening for a Hardware Compliance Specialist in the Corporate Quality & Regulatory team.
The key responsibilities for the position
The key responsibility of the Hardware Compliance Specialist is to secure market clearance such as CE marking, FCC Grants etc. for Laerdal hardware products such as patient simulators. This includes:
Support product teams in the development of hardware products in compliance with applicable regulations.
Coordinate market clearance activities for hardware products with external certification partners.
Support Laerdal sales organizations with market clearances and customer support.
Continuous improvement and internal audits of the Laerdal Management System.
Preferred qualifications and experience
University degree in technology, engineering or natural science.
Ideally two to three years’ experience from development or testing of hardware products and with a basic understanding of quality management system and applicable hardware regulations.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
