🕷️ SPIDER-MAN CLASSICS SERIES II — SPIDER-MAN WITH AMAZING FANTASY #15
Now this is a cool piece of Spider-Man history packaged as an action figure.
This Spider-Man Classics Series II Spider-Man from Toy Biz comes with a 32-page Amazing Fantasy #15 comic-book insert, taking the figure all the way back to where the legend began.
Published in 1962, Amazing Fantasy #15 introduced Peter Parker and Spider-Man, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Peter's origin—his spider bite, Uncle Ben's death and the lesson that would define his life—became one of the foundations of Marvel Comics.

One thing I really love about these old Spider-Man Classics releases is how Toy Biz treated the comics as part of the package rather than an afterthought. Put Spider-Man together with Amazing Fantasy #15, and you're giving someone a figure while also pointing straight back to the story that started everything.
And 30 points of articulation was no joke for this era. Toy Biz was beginning to push action figures away from the old five-point style and toward figures collectors could actually put into recognizable Spider-Man poses.
More than six decades after Amazing Fantasy #15, that red-and-blue costume and one simple lesson about responsibility are still at the heart of Spider-Man.
That's pretty damn impressive for a character who started out as a teenager nobody thought should headline a superhero comic.
