Account Manager – Offshore and New Energies, Rogaland

Øglænd System is looking for an Account Manager to strengthen our team in Rogaland. In this role, you will develop strong customer relationships and drive growth with some of our most important clients within offshore and new energy segments.

 You will join a well-established industrial company with strong market positions and excellent opportunities for long-term career development.

What does the role involve?

At Øglænd System, our sales team plays a key role in our success. As an Account Manager, you will focus on understanding customer needs and delivering value-driven solutions.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships

  • Develop and grow a defined customer portfolio

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities

  • Plan and execute customer visits across your territory

  • Manage and maintain a structured pipeline in CRM (SFDC)

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver best-in-class solutions

  • Take ownership of sales performance within your region

 

You will succeed in this role by building strong relationships through regular customer engagement, maintaining an active pipeline, progressing opportunities, and developing a deep understanding of your customers’ business and needs.

You enjoy spending time with customers and building strong relationships. You take the time to understand their needs and focus on delivering practical, value-adding solutions. You work in a structured way and are comfortable using CRM tools, as well as being measured on results and activities.

 

You act as a link between customers and the organization, ensuring that customer needs are clearly understood internally, while representing your region and customers in a professional way within Øglænd System and Hilti.

 

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone who wants to build a career in sales within a technical environment, working closely with customers and solutions.

 

•       Experience from technical sales or other customer-facing roles

•       Technical understanding and confidence in presenting solutions

•       Experience with CRM tools in sales such as SFDC or others

•       Background in electrical, HVAC, or similar is an advantage

•       Experience from shipbuilding, offshore, or related industries is an advantage

•       Willingness to grow and develop within Øglænd System

•       Availability to travel across Norway

•       Fluent in Norwegian and English (required)

•       Valid driver’s license (Class B)

 

A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field is strong advantage but not required.

Location: Rogaland (office-based in the region)
Travel:
Regular customer visits within assigned territory
