One thing Iâve always appreciated about modern Venom books is how creative they get with symbiote designs, and this cover absolutely nails that.
The black-and-gold look on this character just pops against the cooler background colors, and Bagleyâs artwork gives it that classic energetic Spider-Man-era feel while still leaning fully into modern Venom horror.
First Host as a series is a fun deep-dive into symbiote lore, especially if youâre into the expanding mythology that eventually exploded during the Donny Cates era. It may not be a massive key issue, but itâs one of those books that adds texture to the Venom universe and looks fantastic slabbed.
And honestly⊠Iâm a sucker for sharp second print covers. Sometimes they end up looking even better than the originals.
