Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to play a key role in our venture companies and projects. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models and solutions that drive business insights and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex data challenges into actionable insights and scalable products that make a real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on data analysis and modeling, choosing the right tools and methods to address business challenges.

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models tailored to specific use cases.

• Implement algorithms and models in production environments, ensuring scalability and efficiency for large-scale data.

• Stay updated with the latest AI and machine learning developments, proactively identifying opportunities to apply new techniques across various projects.

• Communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of our data science practices.

• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within our data science frameworks and processes.

Qualifications:

• MSc or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Cybernetics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical analysis.

• Demonstrated success in leading or contributing to multiple end-to-end data science projects.

• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python and related libraries.

• Experience with big data processing, model deployment, and production-level ML applications.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

• Ability to challenge assumptions constructively and provide data-driven perspectives.

• Passion for building elegant, simple solutions that drive measurable impact.

• Must be based in the Oslo area, Norway.
