About the Role
Duration: 6-month
We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join a leading international company within the offshore energy industry.
In this role, you will perform advanced structural analyses and contribute to the design of robust offshore structures operating in demanding environments. Projects range from small mechanical components to large-scale structures weighing up to 2,000 tons.
You will work independently while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, reliable and fabrication-friendly solutions that meet customer and classification society requirements.
This position plays an important role in ensuring the technical integrity and reliability of advanced offshore systems delivered to customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
Perform strength, fatigue and buckling analyses in accordance with recognized offshore standards using FEM software and hand calculations.
Prepare analysis reports for approval by customers and classification societies.
Participate actively in design discussions and contribute to safe, efficient and fabrication-friendly solutions.
Conduct internal reviews of design and analysis documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
Work closely with design, marine, mechanical and piping disciplines.
Communicate with customers and classification societies to ensure technical and regulatory requirements are met.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
Relevant experience with structural analysis in offshore, oil & gas or similar industries
Experience with FEM tools such as Ansys or equivalent
Knowledge of offshore standards and classification requirements
Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
Experience from the offshore industry or comparable heavy engineering sectors
Understanding of fabrication processes and practical engineering constraints
Norwegian language skills are beneficial but not required
