We're now looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Oslo team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys commercial responsibility.

As an Amby consultant, most of your time will be spent working on-site at our clients' offices, fully embedded in their teams. This is very much a consulting role, not a desk job at Amby's own office. That said, Fridays are our fixed (optional) office day, when the whole team comes together to reconnect and build culture.

The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant at Amby, you'll take full ownership of recruitment and advisory projects, combining strong execution and problem-solving with critical thinking, commercial drive and a genuine interest in AI and data to improve outcomes. You will:

• Lead recruitment projects end-to-end, independently owning everything from the initial job analysis and sourcing strategy to interview coordination, hiring decisions and candidate negotiations - ensuring high-quality, timely delivery for some of Norway's most ambitious companies

• Act as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into effective recruitment strategies while aligning clearly on project KPIs and expectations, and advising clients on best practices to optimize outcomes

• Attract, engage and retain candidates across multiple parallel processes, delivering a strong candidate experience through clear communication, structured feedback and expectation management

• Apply AI-driven tools in your own work and contributing to Amby's evolving recruitment best practices

Depending on the project, you'll sometimes work independently and sometimes as part of a larger recruitment team. Being a part of a recruitment team includes taking responsibility for coaching and guiding our Talent Acquisition Consultants, while a Project Manager holds overall responsibility for the process.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, HR, business, economics, innovation & entrepreneurship)

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including at least one year within tech recruitment

• Proven track record of running processes independently, advising clients, and delivering exceptional outcomes

• Strong account management skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships, identify new opportunities, and act as a trusted partner to leadership teams

• Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English (fluent written and verbal)

• A genuine passion for recruitment
