That’s why we at OneSubsea need pioneers and visionaries. Problem‑solvers and collaborators. Curious minds and innovators. Experts and apprentices who care, work together, and drive us forward. OneSubsea is a world‑leading provider of subsea technology, enabling efficient utilization of energy resources and accelerating the transition to a more sustainable future.

We are now looking for a Tendering Commercial Manager to join our team and contribute to the development of winning commercial strategies for our Subsea Production Systems tenders

About the Role

As a Tendering Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the commercial strategy of our tenders, ensuring proposals are competitive, financially robust, and aligned with customer and business objectives.

Working across Sales, Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Project Delivery functions, you will coordinate key stakeholders and drive the commercial aspects of the tender process from initial opportunity assessment through contract award and handover to execution.

This role requires strong commercial judgement and financial proficiency, with a focus on pricing, cost competitiveness, cash flow, profitability, contractual positioning, and risk management.

You will play a key role in governance activities, supporting management decision-making with clear commercial recommendations and ensuring tenders are positioned for both success and sustainable project delivery.

Key responsibilities include

  • Develop commercial strategies that balance competitiveness, profitability, and risk.

  • Drive pricing, cost modelling, and financial analysis to support winning tender submissions.

  • Review commercial requirements and contract terms, identifying key risks and opportunities.

  • Coordinate stakeholders across multiple functions to ensure timely and high-quality tender deliverables.

  • Support customer discussions and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with approved commercial positions.

  • Prepare and present commercial recommendations, risk assessments, and financial analyses for management approval.

  • Ensure compliance with governance requirements throughout the tender lifecycle.

  • Support the transition from tendering to project execution through effective commercial handover.

We are looking for someone who

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Experience in commercial management, tendering, project services, project controls, project finance, or similar.

  • Good understanding of commercial risk, contracts, and EPC/EPCI project delivery.

  • Knowledge of the financial and operational drivers impacting project performance.

  • Subsea industry experience is highly desirable.

  • Beyond your qualifications and experience, you bring strong commercial judgement and a strategic, risk-aware mindset.

  • You excel at engaging stakeholders, driving alignment, and balancing customer expectations with business objectives.

  • Confident in navigating complex commercial and contractual matters, you maintain a strong focus on governance, operational excellence, and successful project delivery

With us, you will experience

  • Colleagues who like to create solutions and achieve success together

  • A workday where you can influence the outcome of development

  • Being part of an international group with clear ambitions that appreciate initiative and innovation

  • Varied tasks across customers and issues, giving you a dynamic and challenging everyday life

  • Good development opportunities where you can grow in several directions within the company

  • Competitive conditions and a work environment that promotes innovation and collaboration
