Somewhere right now, a banana is ripening.

An apple is waiting in storage.

A mango is making its way from a plantation in Peru to a supermarket in Norway.

And somewhere in that journey, quality is either protected or lost.

Quality in the fresh produce supply chain is too often managed by instinct and experience rather than data.

Leveraging our patented microsensor, already proven in advanced gas analytical instruments, we have developed Tunable Nose and Fingerprint Analytics—a breakthrough technology that changes the way it's done.

It reads the invisible gases inside a ripening room, a cold store, or a transit container in real time, giving operators the information they need to make the right call at the right moment.

We are already deployed in ripening rooms and apple stores across multiple continents.

Our customers include some of the most quality-conscious operators in global fresh produce.

And we are growing.

Now we are looking for the person who wants to be part of our team and our commercial push in the Fruit & Vegetables segment – someone who knows the food industry from the inside, believes technology can transform fresh produce quality, and has the commercial talent to grow the business.

The Role: Commercial Product Manager – Fruit & Vegetables

You will join Tunable’s commercial team focused on the F&V market.

You will manage customer relationships and the sales pipeline, clearly communicate our value proposition, and provide the market feedback needed to keep our product aligned with real customer needs.

In practice, this means:

  • Grow the direct-to-market commercial strategy for Tunable in the F&V segment – from lead generation to signed orders.

  • Build and maintain relationships with growers, packers, Master ripeners, distributors, and retailers who rely on quality data to protect value across the cold chain.

  • Be Tunable's voice of the customer internally.

  • Translate what you learn in the field—from ripening facilities in Europe to apple storage operations in India and kiwi producers in New Zealand—into clear product requirements

  • Develop compelling commercial materials and business cases that make Tunable’s technology easy to say yes to.

  • Collaborate with our Business Management and Technology Development team to ensure market insights continuously shape our product roadmap – and that our roadmap shapes the market.

  • Represent Tunable at industry events and trade fairs internationally.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in the food and preferably the fruit & vegetables industry – in commercial, operational, logistical or technical roles.

  • You understand what happens between the tree and the shelf.

  • A natural closer.

  • You are energized by customer conversations, comfortable with complex B2B sales, and focused on converting pipelines into revenue.

  • Deep understanding for the cold chain and a genuine curiosity about what technology can do for fresh produce quality.

  • An exceptional communicator – you can explain a technical concept to a logistics manager on a loading dock and present a business case to a CFO.

  • Both feel natural to you.

  • A bridge-builder by instinct: you connect people, ideas, and functions, making both the customer and the internal team better.

  • Experience from foodtech, agritech or technology companies is a distinct advantage.

  • A passion for food and sustainability is essential to you.
