Lead Sales Growth as Head of Sales at Nordic Approach
Nordic Approach aims to be a preferred sourcing partner for roasters seeking exceptional quality green coffee. As Head of Sales, you own the commercial direction and execution—driving customer satisfaction, growth, and modern digital ways of working across the full customer relationship.
You combine strong commercial drive with a relationship-first approach to specialty coffee. You lead and develop the sales team, sharpen our market approach, and bridge traditional relationship selling with digital commerce (incl. Customer Portal and practical AI use cases) to strengthen the customer experience from first contact to repeat business.
Responsibilities & tasks
Lead the sales team: set direction, coach performance, and ensure high customer activity (meetings/visits/cuppings) with you as a visible face to the market.
Align Sales & Marketing: build one unified go-to-market approach and sales collateral that reflects the brand while using modern digital delivery.
Own pricing & commercial terms: manage coffee pricing/discounting and align buying plans with each origin.
Grow FOB & Forward business: standardize quoting and communication to drive volume growth.
Drive market focus: identify target segments and prioritize high-growth regions, incl. Southeast Asia.
Customer Portal launch: lead the rollout of the B2B portal to automate key routines (e.g., support, releases, invoicing) and improve customer experience.
Practical AI in Sales: identify and implement concrete use cases that create advantage and measurable customer value.
Odoo-first execution: troubleshoot day-to-day issues and drive improvements in line with an “Odoo-first” architecture.
Shape the portfolio and strategy: contribute to origin development, quality specifications, certifications, budgeting, and executive planning—working closely across functions and group companies.
Performance & insights: set sales KPIs and provide data-driven insights for leadership decisions.
Group reporting: manage NKG reporting requirements.
Your profile
You are an experienced sales leader who thrives in a low-hierarchy environment with real autonomy and accountability. You bring a structured, modern approach to sales while protecting what matters most in specialty coffee: trust, expertise, and service.
Essential
Proven sales leadership experience in a comparable environment across functions and channels.
Strong relationship management track record; credible in specialty coffee through expertise and service mindset.
Ability to innovate and modernize the sales function (digital, collaborative, end-to-end ways of working).
Strategic, structured thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial and results-oriented approach.
Cross-cultural competency; fluent English.
Bachelor’s degree (minimum), ideally business-related.
Preferred
Existing network within our business field.
Experience with both trading and value-added specialty product lines.
