We are searching for a Marketing Specialist for distributor markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

 About the role

As a Marketing Specialist for Distributor Markets, you’ll work in a multidisciplinary team  
responsible for enabling, coordinating, and elevating marketing execution through Laerdal’s distributor network in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The role acts as a bridge between central marketing and local distributor marketing teams, ensuring consistent adoption of Laerdal’s marketing strategy while respecting local market needs.  

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute EMEA distributor marketing strategies by co-creating annual plans, leading go-to-market (GTM) launches, and adapting segmentation, positioning, and messaging to local market needs.  

  • Serve as the marketing partner for distributor sales teams, owning launch enablement, maintaining sales toolkits, delivering training, and providing market insights to improve sales effectiveness and win rates.  

  • Drive distributor-focused campaigns and co-marketing initiatives, including digital programs, webinars, congresses, events, and activities that generate end-customer demand and adoption.  

  • Build distributor marketing capabilities through coaching, training, and best-practice sharing in campaign management, digital marketing, branding, messaging, and use of marketing tools and platforms.  

  • Manage distributor relationships and performance, participating in business reviews, coordinating cross-functional launch readiness, tracking KPIs, and reporting market, competitive, and performance insights to regional and global stakeholders

What we are looking for
We're seeking an early to mid-career marketing professional with the ambition to grow into a strategic channel marketing role. The ideal candidate combines strong execution skills with a curiosity for market insights, enjoys working across cultures, and is motivated by enabling partners and distributors to succeed. The ideal candidate will bring: 

  • Strategic marketer with a hands-on mindset able to develop marketing plans and execute with impact.  

  • Proven campaign leader experienced in managing and optimising multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously.  

  •  Strong communicator and influencer confident engaging and inspiring stakeholders across cultures and functions.  

  • Data-driven and commercially minded uses insights, metrics, and analytics to drive decisions and build business cases.  

  • Digitally savvy up to date on marketing automation, analytics, content creation tools, and digital marketing best practices.  

  • Collaborative and adaptable thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments and delivers scalable solutions.  

  • Coach and capability builder passionate about developing others and enabling marketing excellence across distributor networks. 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.  

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B marketing, channel/distributor marketing, product marketing, demand generation, or field marketing.  

  • Experience supporting product launches, go-to-market activities, and integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.  

  • Exposure to working with distributors, partners, resellers, or indirect sales models is highly desirable.  

  • Familiarity with healthcare, medical devices, healthcare education, simulation, or other regulated industries is an advantage.  

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including email marketing, webinars, social media, content marketing, and lead generation.  

  • Experience using CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Eloqua, Google Analytics, Power BI, or similar).  

  • Ability to analyse campaign performance and translate data into actionable recommendations.  

  • Confidence presenting, training, and engaging audiences both virtually and in person.  

  • International or multicultural working experience is preferred, particularly across EMEA markets.  

  • Fluency in English; additional European, Arabic, or other regional languages would be an advantage.  

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.  

  • Passion for coaching, knowledge-sharing, and helping partners build marketing capability and confidence.
