I absolutely love weird books like this.
Star Wars comics are usually filled with Jedi battles, Sith conspiracies and galactic drama⊠and then Sergio Aragonés comes in and basically says:
âWhat if we just made the entire galaxy completely ridiculous?â
And somehow it works perfectly.
The humor in this book feels timeless because it pokes fun at all the little things longtime Star Wars fans notice â the absurd scale of the Empire, the constant chaos around droids, the madness of giant walkers, and just how unlucky regular people in this universe must be.
The cover alone cracks me up.
Youâve got this massive AT-AT dominating the scene while some poor guy is just trying to relax in the desert like nothing catastrophic is happening behind him.
Peak Sergio Aragonés energy.
Books like this are such a fun reminder that collecting isnât always about giant keys or expensive grails. Sometimes itâs about finding unique pieces of comic history that make you smile every time you look at them.
And finding one in CGC 9.8 White Pages? Even better.
