Director Field Operations Programs
As part of NOV’s strategic expansion of its Operations engagement capabilities, we are seeking an experienced Director Field Operations Programs to oversee the larger field operations programs that are operated by the customer where Process Systems both offer the concept AVAILABLE by NOV for pro-active management of operational assets with customer through presence at field, digital interface and remote expert services.
For key customers, these activities are larger in scope and require attention beyond the AVAILABLE, include lifecycle services (LCS) and other field operation activities that make an integrated program with these operators.
There may also be functions of production optimization (inclusion of OPUS offerings) to make the programs even more complex with high upselling opportunity for Process Systems.
The ambition of Process Systems is to enable more and more of key end users will apply this integrated approach to maximize value creation both for end user and for Process Systems.
Pioner programs of this type is already in progress for both Norwegian and international projects and key MEG clients target customers, that needs further development
This role is a general oversight of these integrated programs that process systems are working on.
This includes oversight of program management for development activities to build the offerings that is required including e.g. digital infrastructure, and act as oversight to project management for the individual LCS / AVAILABLE / OPUS / project delivery activities that is included in these large scale field operations activities.
The role will also have oversight into part of the major delivery projects Process Systems conduct, including supporting the development of key operations functions in the delivery projects, especially focused on process performance, control systems and similar.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and strategy the larger field operations programs for NOV process system to expand the offering to mee the Operators need
Manage and control for the NOV process systems the larger field operations programs:
all tendering activities
all projects
resources need
overall performance and financial results
Qualifications
Master’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or related discipline.
10–15 years of experience in the oil & gas industry
Demonstrated experience in managing and leading managers and resources
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to develop a strategy and vision, by understand the operators need for larger field operations programs
Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with Field operations for offshore facilities, FPSOs, or onshore processing plants.
Experience interacting directly with clients and presenting technical findings.
