About the Role
We are now looking for an experienced Technical Manager to strengthen our engineering team in Oslo, Norway and take a leading role in delivering complex subsea projects.
In this position, you will hold overall technical authority for assigned projects, ensuring that all engineering deliverables are integrated into a cohesive and fully functional subsea system.
You will play a key role in managing technical interfaces across disciplines, with particular focus on system integration and control systems. As the primary technical point of contact for clients, you will lead technical alignment both internally and externally.
This is a high-impact role suited for a senior engineer with strong leadership capabilities, broad subsea knowledge, and a solid understanding of control system integration.

Key Responsibilities
Hold overall technical authority for the project, ensuring full system integration across all deliverables
Manage technical interfaces between key components (e.g., Pipeline end manifolds with subcomponents and tie-in systems) and ensure alignment with control systems
Define and oversee system control philosophy and integration logic
Own and manage the Master Document Register (MDR), ensuring effective planning and timely delivery of engineering documentation
Act as the main technical interface with clients, leading technical discussions, clarifications, and approvals
Ensure Technical Leads effectively coordinate design and analysis within their scope, while maintaining alignment with overall system requirements
Identify and manage technical risks across disciplines and support change and deviation handling
Ensure effective integration of key technologies in collaboration with Technical Advisors
Drive technical consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across the project
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Subsea, Control Systems, or related discipline)
10–15 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in large EPC subsea projects
Strong understanding of subsea systems, with solid experience in control systems and system integration
Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex technical scopes
Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver large volumes of engineering documentation (MDR) on schedule
Fluent in English
Desired Qualifications:
Experience handling technical interfaces across major deliverables and disciplines
Norwegian language skills are considered an advantage
Soft Skills
Confident in leading technical discussions with demanding clients and aligning stakeholders
Structured, analytical, and able to manage complexity and competing priorities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
