About the School

Romerike International School is an IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). Located near Oslo, RIS provides a supportive, international learning environment built on the pillars of Outdoor Education, Wellbeing, Service, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability.

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics to students in Grades 7--10 within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). The language of instruction is English, and applicants must be able to teach and communicate fluently in English. The teaching load is 16 periods a week.

• Is confident, patient, and able to build positive relationships with students

• Communicates clearly and professionally in English

• Can plan and deliver structured, engaging, and differentiated lessons

• Is collaborative, flexible, and comfortable in an international school environment

• (Ideally)experience teaching Mathematics in the IB MYP

• A well-established IB MYP programme with collaborative planning structures

• A manageable teaching load (16 periods per week)

• A welcoming international staff community

• The opportunity to contribute to a values-driven school built on wellbeing, outdoor education, and sustainability

• Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience, and set by an agreement
