Cyber Security Engineer

Duties and responsibilities
The Cyber Security Engineer supports the manager of Cyber Security with handling the overall responsibility for digital / cyber security in Vard Electro, focusing on tasks such as:
- Conduct risk assessments and threat models of SeaQ products
- Conduct audits and gap analysis to assess cybersecurity compliance
- Assist and advice product and service department on cybersecurity challenges
- General Cyber Security advisory and support for the rest of the organization
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Vard Electro cybersecurity framework for products
- Write and review cybersecurity documentation
- Train and educate employees in product cybersecurity
- Assess cybersecurity architecture
Qualifications
- Relevant higher education, or other relevant experience.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to main tasks
- Good knowledge of English, oral and written.Experience with cybersecurity architecture
- Knowledge of class society requirements regarding cyber security
- Knowledge of relevant security frameworks and standards
- Knowledge of risk assessments for cybersecurity
