About the Position
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurants and bars.
You are a strategic and hands-on leader, driven by culinary quality and a passion for exceptional hospitality.
You will be the key person ensuring that our service reflects the unique food and beverage experiences that define Hotel Union Geiranger.
Main Responsibilities
As Restaurant Manager, you will hold a permanent full-time position with overall responsibility for operating our restaurants and bars, including:
Team Leadership:
Recruiting, training, and developing the service team.
Quality Assurance:
Maintaining the highest standards of service and guest experience.
Operations & Guest Experience:
Ensuring seamless daily operations and acting as the hotel’s ambassador for service and beverages.
Finance & Sustainability:
Budget responsibility, cost control, and promoting sustainable practices in line with the hotel’s values.
Who We Are Looking For
Documented leadership experience from an à la carte restaurant, banqueting, and/or hotel environment
Strong financial understanding and solid knowledge of wine and beverages
An inspiring leadership style and a genuine passion for guest service
Fluent in English (required); knowledge of the Norwegian language is important
