Helly Hansen is looking for a Product Spesialist

We are seeking two Product Specialists to join our Professional Services department. In this role, you will develop innovative, high-quality, and technically advanced garments that excite and fulfil the current and evolving needs of our customers. The position involves working with technical garments in a project-based environment, with a strong focus on customer collaboration. Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

We are recruiting one Product Specialist for a permanent position and one Product Specialist for a fixed-term, one-year contract.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop products according to allocation, brief, timelines, HH product philosophy, company quality standards and certification standards.
  • Optimize products and critically review and negotiate prices.
  • Drive product creation to fit a realistic and efficient development and production process.
  • Do all necessary communication with vendors and internal cross functional teams, to ensure an efficient production process.
  • Develop, source and possibly design details and solutions related to allocated products.
  • Create CAD`s including customer logos and artworks according to customer brief and technical requirements.
  • Drive and execute evaluation process for construction, function, and sizing for prototypes and pre-production samples on allocated styles.
  • Produce and update drawings and tech packs according to technical specifications.
  • Contribute and actively take part in the development of any working tools.
  • Provide all internal and external partners with necessary product info according to given timelines upon request.
  • Take active part and contribute to internal and external presentations and presentation materials, briefings and product reviews if asked to.
  • Carry out other related duties and instructions required by team manager.
  • Actively prepare, plan for and travel when necessary for the execution for allocated products.

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in product development.
  • Bachelor´s degree in Apparel/Textile design, or similar.
  • Proficiency in PLM systems, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Good organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Good time management.
