We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cost Controller Assistant

We are seeking a Cost Control Assistant for immediate start asap.

For this role, we are looking for candidates with hands on Cost Controller experience in infrastructure projects, preferably motorway, road, tunnel, bridge, or other major civil construction projects.

Experience with project cost forecasting, budget tracking, cost reporting, and project controls processes would be highly relevant.

From an educational perspective, we would also prefer candidates with a background in engineering, construction management, project controls, or a related discipline.

 Responsibilities / Main activities

• Verifying the Daily Reports from site for man-hours and equipment allocation
• Divide the actual cost per each Cost Breakdown Element
• Preparation of flash report and monthly cost control report
• Preparation of the budget assignment for the Need Reque
• Supporting the preparation of the project budget and its monitoring in time
• Analysis and control of site direct and indirect costs, focusing on the tunnelling and underground works construction activities
• Monitoring the work's physical and economic status (cost vs progress)
• Supporting drawing-up of the project's periodic reporting
• Analysing the differences between planned and end costs
• Collaborating with the Geo-technical Engineering, Production and Procurement Teams to correctly value activities in financial terms
• Supporting managing variants, claims and change orders
• Using the most used cost and project planning tools
• Industrial costs control and planning process connected to creating works, ensuring a systemic outlook and effectiveness, coordinating with the Operations Controllers.
• Activities aimed at promoting a comparison and the convergence between the analysis of the industrial effectiveness and the Group's economic-financial indicators
• Preparing the Cost Control summary reports and sending them to General Management in accordance with the defined timing.
• Promoting the continuous improvement of processes, methods and tools, with the aim of cost control and project control transformation

Education

• Degree in Geo-technical Engineering
• Civil Engineering - geo- technical address, 
• Infrastructural Engineering or similar

Language:  English professional - Norwegian Good
