About the Position
The Sales Operations Representative (SOR) plays a key role in ensuring smooth, consistent, and efficient day-to-day execution across Norrøna’s Retail and Wholesale channels. The role supports core commercial processes, strengthens cross-functional collaboration, and contributes to the development and implementation of standardized ways of working across markets.
Through structured coordination, diligent follow-up, and hands-on operational support, the SOR helps drive stronger sales performance, improved margin development, and scalable international growth. The role is essential in keeping the commercial organization running effectively and efficiently, enabling a business that is easy to work for, easy to sell for, and easy to buy from.
The Sales Operations Representative will be part of the Sales Operations team and will report directly to the Sales Operations Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and support order processing across Retail and Wholesale, ensuring accuracy, timely follow-up, and resolution of operational issues while supporting agents, distributors, and internal sales teams
- Maintain and update price lists, order sheets, B2B portal, and brand store portal to ensure accurate and consistent information across all markets and sales channels
- Coordinate salesman sample (SMS) ordering, tracking, and cost control, including inventory management and value monitoring
- Support the execution of commercial processes within defined timelines, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement of ways of working
- Provide operational support to brand stores, agents, and distributors, including coordination, communication, and participation in meetings when needed
- Support preparation, accuracy, and distribution of sales reports and operational data, contributing to improved reporting tools and data quality
- Assist in coordinating training activities, sales meetings, trade shows, and internal events to ensure smooth execution and alignment
- Support the development and distribution of POP materials across departments
- Provide administrative support to sales leadership and assist with day-to-day operational tasks as required
- Maintain and organize internal storage areas related to the sales function and ensure operational readiness of materials and tools
We believe you’ll succeed in this role if you
- Have strong execution skills and experience working in sales operations, retail, wholesale, or commercial support functions
- Are detail-oriented, structured, and able to manage multiple processes, systems, and stakeholders over time
- Have a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to work with data, reports, and systems to support decision-making and improve performance
- Are comfortable translating operational requirements into clear actions and ensuring follow-through across teams and markets
- Are motivated by improving how things work and take pride in contributing to more efficient, scalable, and standardized ways of working
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, international environment and collaborating closely with sales, retail, and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Higher education within business administration, sales, supply chain, economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in sales operations, retail operations, wholesale, or commercial support roles
- Strong understanding of commercial processes such as order management, reporting, and sales support is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to take ownership and learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Norwegian
