About the Position
The Production Controller (PC) is the day-to-day operational executor, responsible for placing and following up production orders and acting as the key interface towards our manufacturers and suppliers. The PC coordinates production and material usage, tracking production orders through the entire chain until handover to the logistics team.
The PC works closely alongside the commercial executives in Logistics and Manufacturing, ensuring detailed and accurate information to factories, enabling new products to be brought to market at the highest quality.
Daily coordination across our value chain partners makes this role pivotal within Norrøna and highly outward-facing. The Production Controller will report directly to the Production Manager and be part of the Manufacturing Department.
Main Responsibilities
- Daily interface with manufacturers and suppliers, facilitating on-time and in-full deliveries to our warehouse
- Placing, calculating and following up production orders
- Raw material management and allocation of materials at factories
- Ensuring data accuracy and system integrity across Norrønas ERP and PLM systems
- Monitoring and following up on quality and QA systems with external quality partners
- Coordination across logistics and supply chain stakeholders

- Take initiative, are proactive, and approach tasks with a solution-oriented mindset
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Have an interest in nature and a genuine enthusiasm for our products
Qualifications
- Financial background, with relevant education at bachelor’s or master’s level
- Experience with procurement and/or logistics is an advantage
- Strong system understanding and competence in ERP systems, preferably Business Central (BC)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical abilities
