Lead Commercial Growth at Nordic Batteries
Nordic Batteries is at the forefront of the Nordic battery industry, specializing in the development and production of advanced battery solutions.
Our mission is to bridge the gap from battery cells to real-world applications, contributing to the growth of the Nordic and European battery value chain.
In recent months we have gotten commercial traction in the defence and critical infrastructure sectors and are therefore seeking a highly motivated Head of sales/CCO to lead our sales and commercial activity.
Key Responsibilities:
The main responsibility will be to spearhead our commercial operations, identify and reach out to new customers, and convert qualified leads to paying customers.
We have a capable and experienced engineering/business development team with a track record in uncovering customer needs and translating them into real, functioning products.
We want to take that to the next level with a candidate who is hands on customer sales, streamline the processes, prioritize valuable leads and improve customer conversion.
Furthermore, the responsibilities will include:
Working hands on to expand the sales pipeline & close deals
Bridge the gap from customer requirements to technical solutions
Build and implement strategies for customer conversion
Lead, and over time further build the sales & business development team
Be a part of the company management team
Participate in external events and industry fairs
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a commercial track record and experience leading B2B sales, ideally within industrial technology or defence.
You know how to build a pipeline, close deals, and keep customers coming back.
You work efficiently with structure, and you enjoy being close to the market.
Most of all, you’re motivated by helping grow the Nordic and European battery industry in a fast-moving environment.
Additionally, it would be an advantage with some of the following:
A degree in relevant fields (business, economics, or similar commercial disciplines)
5+ years of experience with sales and commercial development.
An established network within relevant industries (defence, critical infrastructure, ++)
Technical understanding and experience.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone with the motivation to take ownership of the full sales cycle and take the necessary responsibility to push our sales efforts to the next level.
