Lead growth across one of MOW's most strategic regions!
The Marine, Offshore & Wind (MOW) division provides lighting solutions for maritime, wind, and energy applications. MOW is now looking for a commercially driven and forward-leaning Regional Sales Director Northern Europe to lead one of our most important regions, covering Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and the Baltics.
This is a senior leadership role with P&L and accountability for delivering profitable growth across the marine, offshore, energy, and defence markets. Reporting to the CSCO, you will be part of the MOW commercial leadership team and play a key role in shaping and executing Glamox' growth strategy in Northern Europe.
You will lead a high-performing regional sales organisation, working closely with sales managers and sales teams while owning key customer relationships across shipyards, installers, contractors, designers, distributors, and end users. You will engage directly with executive stakeholders on large- and complex opportunities and work closely with KAM, Solutions, and Sales Excellence to strengthen technical support, pricing discipline, forecasting, and pipeline management.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Own the regional P&L and develop profitable revenue and margin growth
- Grow and lead the regional sales strategy aligned with MOW priorities
- Build strong market presence and customer engagement at executive level
- Influence specifications and drive large, complex deals through direct involvement
- Lead negotiations and coordinate internally on high-value customised opportunities
- develop, and grow a high-performing regional sales organisation
- Collaborate closely with KAM, other Sales Regions, Solutions, and Sales Excellence to execute the new MOW operating model
Qualifications
- Experience from marine, offshore, energy, defence, lighting, or related industrial sectors is highly valued
- Master's degree or equivalent higher education
- 8+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3-5 years in a sales leadership role
- Proven experience leading regional, multi-country, or multi-team sales organisations
- Strong track record of delivering profitable growth in project-driven industries
- Strong commercial understanding, including forecasting, pipeline management, pricing, and margin control
- Experience working in matrix organisations with KAM and technical sales support functions
- Comfortable handling complex, high-value, customised negotiations and quotations
- Strong Salesforce discipline and data-driven sales management
