To continue the incredible success of the opening of Sommerro in September 2022, we are now in search of a dynamic Head Chef to lead the hotel´s culinary team in Ekspedisjonhallen
We are seeking a new leader to continue the journey to deliver Oslo's most exciting food and beverage offering. Ekspedisjonshallen, an all-day dining outlet featuring a menu of classic brasserie favorites and evenings with Vibrant music, special events and artists.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about food, enjoys taking responsibility, team leader and has a strong understanding of the business, demonstrated by a proven track record in Leadership positions

Tasks:
- Personnel responsibility, supporting and coaching sous chefs and chefs (Peakon - Employee satisfaction).
- Staff planning and scheduling in alignment with KPIs (Planday/PMI).
- Recruitment, employment, onboarding, evaluation, and development of employees.
- Financial responsibility including cost controls, inventory control.
- Quality controls and follow-up on guest satisfaction surveys (Loopon).
- Evening and weekend work as needed to be expected.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as Head chef in a premium multi outlet Hotel or high volume restaurant
- Proven track record in costing, menu planning, P&L and procurement
- Management and leadership training a plus
- international Hotel experience a plus

The Head Chef reports to The Executive chef and is part of the extended management group. Your immediate team consists of around 20 chefs.
