Novenco Marine & Offshore is owned by Hi Air Korea which have offices and factories in Korea.

About the position

The working location is at Trollåsen, Norway. Travelling must be expected.

We are looking for an IT Manager which will take responsibility in leading Novenco Marine & Offshore into the future through identification, development and implementation of innovative, modern, efficient, competitive and safe IT solutions in a complex cyber security, information security and project execution landscape.

We are looking for an individual with relevant formal education, experience and understanding of similar business to Novenco. You must be willing, eager and capable of learning our business from the day-to-day operational routines and challenges to the management and business analytical needs and contribute to our competitiveness.

The position reports to the Managing Director Novenco AS (Norway).

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• develop and implement business oriented and competitive IT strategies for Novenco Marine & Offshore

• cooperate with the Global Manager Team and IT Team in Novenco Marine & Offshore group and the local Novenco Leader Teams and Employees (Denmark, China and Norway)

• make sure the IT systems comply with ISO27001 - Information Security Management System

• make sure the IT routines comply with ISO9001 – Quality Management System

• make sure the IT systems are safe and protected against cyber-attacks

• make sure the IT systems are user friendly and efficient

• make sure new available technology that is beneficial to Novenco is taken into use

• make sure IT tools are developed based on the needs of Novenco

• make sure the organization is aware of and trained in our IT systems

• establish and be responsible for IT budgets

Qualifications:

• Relevant formal education, e.g. Bachelor's/Master's degree and/or relevant senior experience in a similar role

• experience with Microsoft 365

• Fluent English, both written and spoken

Personal Qualifications:

• Comfortable with and interested in interacting with people

• Open minded, eager and capable of learning complex matters

• Good communication skills

• Robust

• Capable of switching between working in a team and working independently
