Are you passionate about embedded Linux and connected systems?
Are you passionate about building reliable embedded systems and taking products from early development into production and beyond? We are looking for two Software Engineers to join our team and contribute to Linux-based embedded solutions used in demanding, real-world environments.
About the Role
You will design, develop, and maintain embedded software on Linux platforms, working closely with hardware, product, and QA teams to deliver robust systems—often communicating over LTE or similar networks.
Our core value is We deliver. We take ownership, follow things through, and care about how our products perform in the field. We are looking for engineers who share this mindset and want to take responsibility for the products they help create.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, design, and develop embedded software in C and C++ on Linux based platforms
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot systemd services
- Integrate communication modules and networks, including LTE-based solutions
- Build, test, debug, and maintain software
- Contribute to system architecture, code reviews, and continuous improvement
- Support products from development through production and operation
Required Qualifications
We are looking for a solid foundation in embedded software development and a genuine interest in building reliable embedded systems. We are looking for a person with a strong sense of ownership, taking products from early development through production, and actively ensuring they continue to perform well throughout their lifecycle.
- Good working knowledge of Linux
- Programming experience in C and/or C++ (professional, academic, or personal projects)
- Experience with embedded or resource-constrained systems
- Understanding of testing, debugging, and code quality practices
- A delivery-oriented and collaborative mindset
We welcome applications from both experienced engineers and highly motivated graduates with relevant project experience.
Experience That Is A Plus
Experience in any of the technologies below is a plus, but a strong interest in learning and applying them in real world systems is just as important.
- Embedded Linux build systems such as Yocto Project, Buildroot, or similar
- CMake or other modern build and tooling setups
- Debugging, profiling, and cross compilation for embedded targets
- Secure coding practices and performance considerations in embedded systems
- CI and CD pipelines, automated testing, or DevOps oriented workflows
- Git and collaborative development practices
- Container technologies such as Docker or Podman
- Embedded and connectivity related technologies and protocols, for example:
TCP and UDP networking
AT commands and PPP for LTE modems
MQTT, MQTT SN, CoAP, or HTTP REST for cloud connectivity
NMEA for GNSS modules
CAN or CANopen for device level communication
Considering applying?
We value engineers who take pride in what they deliver and care about how their products perform in real-world use. If you meet some, but not all of the criteria above, we still encourage you to apply.
We inform you that a background check will be conducted via SEMAC as part of the recruitment process.
