Operations Coordinator

About the position

We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our Scandinavian team in Stavanger. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for coordinating and managing onshore and offshore operational activities, ensuring seamless deliveries to our clients across the Norwegian Continental Shelf and the wider Scandinavian region.

This position involves close collaboration with operational teams, customers, and suppliers, and is well suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment with a high level of responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for operational activity across the Scandinavian region

• Coordinate and follow up activities at onshore bases to ensure timely and efficient execution

• Plan, schedule, and allocate resources for operational teams

• Provide ad-hoc offshore support for ongoing and future operational scope

• Support field and operations engineers by providing clear guidance and direction

• Coordinate equipment and service deliveries using relevant logistics and inventory management systems

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors

• Coordinate, control, and maintain all operational documentation, both onshore and offshore

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements

Qualifications

• Higher education is preferred; relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications

• Operational experience from onshore and/or offshore environments

• Experience with planning and logistics systems (e.g. Kabal and Wellcom)

• Experience with inventory and equipment management systems

• Technical understanding within mechanical and/or petroleum engineering disciplines

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Willingness to travel offshore on an ad‑hoc basis within the Scandinavian region
