Technical Support Coordinator

We are looking for a Technical Support Coordinator to join our Technical Team, where you will support Mechanical, ComTrac, and Logging workshops, as well as operations, logistics, and sales when needed. In addition, you will contribute to new projects and play an active role in ensuring smooth and efficient technical processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the Technical Lead with daily tasks and ongoing projects. You will help develop and maintain procedures, identify improvements in our ERP systems, and contribute to internal training materials. A key part of the position involves participating in our digital transformation initiatives and ensuring that documentation and processes meet both regulatory and company standards.

You will also be responsible for coordinating the purchase of new equipment, ensuring that technical and documentation requirements are met. When new equipment arrives, you will oversee the receiving and approval process to ensure that all relevant documentation is accurate and complete. Additionally, you will support the maintenance of the spare parts catalogue in IFS and report mechanical equipment issues to the Maintenance & Supply Chain Manager.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a certificate of apprenticeship as a minimum, and preferably a bachelor's degree in mechanical or technical subjects. You should have three to five years of practical experience working with mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment, although relevant hands-on experience may compensate for the lack of formal higher education. Experience with wireline equipment is an advantage.

Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English are essential, as are solid computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. To thrive in this role, you should be technically minded, structured, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
