Jotta Group is searching for a seasoned and enthusiastic Team Lead who cares deeply about both technology and people. You’ll join a talented engineering team and help create, build, and continuously improve the products and systems that power our services of our main product team Min Sky in Trondheim. 

Your job is not just to lead—it’s to enable, support, and lift others up. You’ll help set direction, foster collaboration, and make sure that everyone on the team feels empowered to do their best work.

We’re looking for someone with a solid technical foundation, but more importantly, someone who leads with honesty, empathy, and kindness. Our belief is simple: the best leaders are good people first.

You´ ll also be responsible for coordination with frontend developers, UX designer and QA.

Development is done in Python 3 and you will together with the team be working in an environment of (Python), Postgres, and Kubernetes. These are technologies that the team will use on a day to day basis. 

Our developers use the operating system they are most comfortable with and choose their own hardware. You have root access to your own computer.

• You have a genuine interest and love to experiment and find new ways to solve problems
• You thrive on creating quality solutions.
• You enjoy working with a highly skilled team to create good, testable, and well structured code. 
• You have experience with working on complex projects, and you can make valuable contributions building upon code written by other developers.

Qualifications wanted for the role

• Preferably experience 3-5 years of relevant education. Experience and skills can compensate for formal education.
• 5+ years of developer or team lead in tech environment
• Personal competency relevant for the role is a must. 
• High level of technical proficiency is a plus.
