A stunning Halo Ring, made of Rhodium Plated 925 Silver and featuring an amazing natural Welo Opal from Ethiopia surrounded by a dazzling Halo of 12 Brilliant Cut natural Zircons from Cambodia! Opal is an October Birthstone and is also the stone given to celebrate the 14th Wedding Anniversary. The dramatic play-of-colour has inspired writers to compare it to fireworks, galaxies and volcanoes. Bedouins once believed Opal held lightning and fell from the sky during thunderstorms. Ancient Greeks thought Opals bestowed the gift of prophesy and protection from disease. Europeans long maintained Opal to be a symbol of purity, hope and truth. Zircon is a December Birthstone and is as old as time. Older than diamonds, holding Zircon means holding a 4.4 billion year old piece of earth. Zircon is older than dinosaurs and almost as old as the earth itself! Brand New and ready to wear!
