⚔️ MEDIEVAL SPAWN — McFARLANE MASTERWORKS KICKSTARTER
If the original Spawn Masterworks figures were impressive, these Medieval Spawn Masterworks sets take the presentation to another level.
These photos show multiple versions of McFarlane Toys’ crowdfunded Medieval Spawn, each housed in the massive book-style Masterworks presentation box. Open one up and it looks more like a high-end armory than ordinary action-figure packaging.
The figures are surrounded by an impressive assortment of interchangeable armor pieces, alternate parts and medieval weaponry, all individually fitted into the foam display. The huge shield, axes, swords and other accessories make the presentation almost as much fun as the figure itself.
And then there’s the centerpiece above the figure: the Todd McFarlane signature plaque, individually numbered out of 700.
These sets also include their Masterworks Certificate of Authenticity, dated 2024, documenting the crowdfunded Medieval Spawn release.
The different finishes really show off how much sculpted detail went into Medieval Spawn. The weathered armor, chains, skulls, enormous cape and brutal medieval aesthetic feel like someone took the visual language of Spawn and dropped it straight into dark fantasy.
That’s exactly why Medieval Spawn has remained such a memorable interpretation of the character. He isn’t simply regular Spawn wearing armor—the design transforms the Spawn mythology into something that looks like it walked out of a nightmare-soaked medieval battlefield.
Between the numbered McFarlane signature, COA, ridiculous accessory count and Masterworks presentation, these are absolutely display pieces.
And yes... opening that box and seeing an entire Spawn armory built into the door is pretty damn cool.
