Delfin Midstream is a private US company that owns the “Delfin LNG Project”. Delfin LNG is an LNG export project offshore Louisiana which uses floating LNG technology to produce LNG from US natural gas. The project took its Final Investment Decision (FID) in June 2026. The technical, execution and pre-ops team is located in Oslo, Norway and is responsible for all development work and the execution of the project, with additional teams in the US and at the shipyard in South Korea (SHI). 

With construction contracts executed and development of additional FLNG projects, the company is looking for new managers, engineers and specialists to join Delfin Norway AS within the following teams: 

• Project management/engineering team
  Management and supervision of the FLNG EPC contractors and developing the project for commissioning and operations phase (design/engineering reviews, vendor selection, plan approval, construction supervision, commissioning oversight, pre-ops support, regulatory management, risk & HSSEQ management) - Read more about the positions here

   

• Pre-ops team
  Leadership, development, procurement, staffing and training of the full Operations & Maintenance systems, services, procedures and organization - Read more about the positions here

   

• Infrastructure engineers
  Development, design & engineering, contracting, construction and commissioning of pipeline, onshore compression and vessel mooring facilities - Read more about the positions here

   

• Project development / technical business development
  Technical and commercial development of next FLNG vessels on the Delfin LNG project and new Deepwater Port projects in North America - Read more about the positions here

   

We are looking for

• Both junior (eager & talented) and senior candidates (skilled & experienced) are encouraged to apply

• Background from FLNG, FPSO and other floating technologies is helpful but not required

• Typical candidates should have an engineering degree (discipline engineers and multidisciplinary project engineers) or an operations degree
