You’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional team where your voice matters—translating product ideas into clean, reliable code, tackling complex technical challenges, and helping us continuously level up our engineering practices.
What You’ll Do
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our office in Gaupne, with work-from-home options available by agreement with your manager. On a day-to-day basis, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain responsive front-end user interfaces using Angular/AngularJS alongside robust, secure backend services powered by C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and end-users to understand business processes, define technical requirements, and craft actionable functional specifications.
Translate business needs into detailed user stories, clear acceptance criteria, and well-structured technical roadmaps.
Build and optimize high-performance RESTful APIs, while designing efficient database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in SQL Server (or similar relational databases).
Maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications with Docker, and write solid automated tests (Unit & Integration) to keep our production environment bulletproof.
Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or comparable experience/technical background, or technical interest
Passion for full-stack development, database design, RESTful APIs, and writing clean, testable code.
Strong collaborator with a focus on code reviews, Agile teamwork, and mentoring.
Curiosity for new technologies, with experience in Azure Cloud Services ( (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure OpenAI Service, or Azure DevOps) and AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
Practical experience or strong interest in leveraging AI/LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain) to enhance application features.
Fluent in English; Norwegian (BokmĂĄl/Nynorsk) skills are a plus.
