IT Operations Specialist

We are now looking for a person who will be responsible for managing daily IT operations and user support, ensuring a secure, reliable, and efficient digital workplace environment in Xplora. This is an entry-level role, perfect for those who just completed their studies or have a few years of experience. This is a 1-year temporary position, with potential for extension.

You will act as the go-to person for workplace IT, combining technical expertise with a hands-on approach to keep users, systems, and devices running efficiently. We will provide relevant training to make sure you are able to assist our IT team with the daily IT operations, but you will also provide your information security expertise to assist with IT process and strategy decisions.

Based in our modern offices in central Oslo, we are a growing tech company looking for a junior IT professional. You will join a highly collaborative team where your insights are celebrated, your expertise is valued, and your decisions shape our daily operations.

Core IT responsibilities

• Identity & Access Administration (user onboarding and offboarding)

• Email Security & Spam Filtering Operations

• Digital Workplace Administration

• Simple IT Equipment Maintenance, Network Operations and Endpoint Management

• Contact point between Xplora and external partners and service providers

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity and governance frameworks (GDPR, NIST, CIS, etc.)

• Entry-level experience with networking, email, cloud platforms, and different operating systems

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Team-orientated with the ability to work independently

• Able to prioritize and manage workload in dynamic environment
