Head of M&A - A key role in driving the Group's acquisition strategy

Glamox is accelerating its growth agenda through a newly launched Commercial Excellence Program. This program introduces new ways of working and strengthens how we engage with customers and markets. Together with an active M&A strategy, this marks an exciting step towards "Glamox 2.0" - a more agile, growth-oriented organization.

As Glamox ramps up its M&A activity, we are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven M&A professional to step into the role as Head of M&A. The role will own and execute the Group's acquisition strategy and be central in driving transactions from origination through to execution.

The role will work closely with senior management, the board of directors, business units, and external advisors, offering strong exposure to strategic decision-making and international deal execution. This is a hands-on role suited for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take ownership of M&A processes end-to-end. The role reports directly to the Group CFO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Glamox M&A pipeline, including target identification, screening and initiating/maintaining active contact
  • Lead the execution of live M&A processes, including valuation, structuring, negotiations, and closing
  • Build and maintain robust financial models to support transaction evaluation and decision-making
  • Create the business case for each transaction, including synergy analysis and preparation for integration
  • Coordinate and manage due diligence processes with internal stakeholders and external advisors
  • Prepare investment cases, transaction materials, and presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with business units to assess strategic fit and support post-acquisition follow-up, in line with Glamox's Commercial Excellence initiatives

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in finance, business or economics
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience from in-house M&A, investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, or similar M&A-focused roles
  • Strong track record of leading M&A transactions, including hands-on experience executing buy-side strategies
  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
  • M&A pipeline management, including outreach and maintaining relationships
  • Solid experience managing or participating in due diligence processes
  • Experience with preparing investment/business cases for board of directors and other senior decision makers
  • Experience from an industrial company, or a similar operational environment, is considered an advantage

Personal Attributes

To succeed in this role, we believe you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a structured and detailed-oriented approach and a clear focus on execution and delivery. You are a proactive relationship builder who engages confidently with M&A targets, internal leadership and external stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously. At the same time, you are hands-on and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and functions.

Why Glamox?
