IT Service Desk Technician
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated IT Service Desk Technician to join our global team. In this role, you will provide local on-site support to employees at our Bergen office as well as remote support to our global offices together with your Service Desk colleagues in Manila, Vilnius, and Houston. Your responsibilities will include managing incoming service requests through our Global IT Service Desk, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and deploying and managing a range of devices.
This position is based in Bergen, Norway.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site support to employees at the Bergen office.
- Deliver 1st line support to employees globally.
- Efficiently and professionally handle service requests through our Global IT Service Desk.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to laptops, mobile devices, and other equipment.
- Deploy and manage laptops, mobile phones, printers, and other devices.
- Work with tools and systems such as Active Directory & Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Windows, and macOS.
Core Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar IT support role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues across multiple platforms and devices.
- Familiarity with Active Directory & Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in oral and written English.
- Additional experience with Atlassian, MDM solutions, VoIP solutions, and VDI solutions is a plus.
