We are looking for chefs and a kitchen manager for our Indian cuisine at Bergen Street Food.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for individuals who want to be part of building a new and exciting street food concept in Bergen from the ground up.
For chefs:
Proven experience in Indian cuisine is required
Experience from restaurants, hotels, or catering
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong focus on quality and consistency
For kitchen manager:
Experience as sous chef, head chef, or kitchen manager
Strong leadership experience in professional kitchens
Ability to build structure, teams, and efficient operations
Strong focus on quality, cost control, and execution
Passion for food and guest experience
You are:
Positive, committed, and solution-oriented
A team player with strong work capacity
Comfortable working under pressure and high volume
Focused on quality and operational excellence
Responsibilities
As part of our Indian kitchen team, you will:
Prepare authentic Indian dishes at a high standard
Contribute to menu development and innovation
Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
Maintain hygiene and HACCP standards
For kitchen manager: lead daily kitchen operations and team coordination
Train and develop kitchen staff
Manage ordering and stock control
Work closely with management and other kitchen concepts
