A new position Automation/Senior Engineer
Job Description
- Automation design for study projects for Oil & Gas, both greenfield and brownfield
- Acting as Automation Lead in studies when required
- Defining, specifying and designing automation and SAS systems for the study phase
- Developing philosophies, system topologies, I/O budgets and system descriptions to the required level
- Developing design documentation such as C&E diagrams, SCDs and HMI sketches
- Participating in and arranging meetings, workshops and reviews for the automation discipline
- Interfacing with other disciplines, contractors and client
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum 6 years' experience from automation engineering in greenfield Oil & Gas or HVDC projects
- Minimum 4 years' experience from automation and SAS/ICSS system design activities and reviews
- Minimum 6 years' experience from automation engineering in Oil & Gas brownfield projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
- Experience from automation system design in FEED or study phase projects
- Experience and deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNVGL and IEC
- Willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for a multicultural working environment
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Systematic and accurate working style
- High loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
- Proactive mindset, seeking advice and sharing own experience with others
- Innovative approach with eagerness to improve methodology and solutions through digital tools
- Knowledge of written and spoken English
- Valid EX-course through engagement
