About the Role

We are looking for a talented Children’s Footwear Designer to join our team in a full-time role based at our Oslo head office. This role is responsible for a broad range of creative tasks, with a strong focus on developing on-brand, commercial footwear designs for children. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the designer will help bring innovative and well-crafted concepts from idea to production. The role reports directly to our Chief Product Officer.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing on-brand, commercial children’s footwear across multiple categories

• Developing concepts from initial idea through to final production

• Creating sketches, CADs, and technical design files for development and manufacturing

• Collaborating closely with product, development, and sourcing teams

• Researching trends, materials, and innovations relevant to children’s footwear

• Ensuring designs meet fit, comfort, safety, and quality requirements

• Supporting seasonal range planning in line with brand and business goals

• Presenting design concepts and updates to the Product team

What You Bring:

• A degree in Footwear Design, Product Design, Fashion Design, or a related field

• Proven experience designing commercial footwear, ideally within children’s footwear

• Strong understanding of fit, comfort, materials, and construction for children

• Ability to create clear sketches, CADs, and technical design specifications (Adobe Creative Suit)

• A strong sense of brand and the ability to design on-brand, market-relevant products

• Experience working collaboratively with product development and sourcing teams

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Clear communication skills and confidence presenting design ideas

• A hands-on, proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
