As Senior Maritime Architect, you will take a leading role in strengthening maritime cybersecurity, advancing lean manning concepts, and integrating remote operation solutions into our next-generation vessels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust cyber resilience strategies, optimize crew efficiency through innovative lean manning approaches, embed remote operation capabilities to enhance vessel performance and safety, and ensure compliance with evolving maritime regulations and standards

Duties and responsibilities
- Contribute to maritime cybersecurity and remote operation concepts.
- Maintain technical specifications, guidelines, and best practices for maritime cyber and remote operation.
- Propose innovative solutions to enhance vessel resilience and operational efficiency.
- Perform hazard identification and risk assessments for lean manned concepts.
- Monitor emerging regulations and standards within the field of maritime cybersecurity, lean manning and remote operations.
- Support sales, concept, and engineering teams to embed cybersecurity and remote operation in customer offerings.
- Participate in customer meetings as a subject matter expert.
- Review and validate contractual documents for cyber and remote requirements.
- Liaise with class societies, flag administrations and other relevant maritime entities.
- Support the organization in delivering ships with cybersecurity requirements.
- Research emerging technologies and trends in maritime cyber and remote operations.
Qualifications
- Skilled in cyber risk assessments and applying maritime regulations such as IACS UR E26/E27, MASS Code, IMO 1455 and ISO/IEC standards and similar.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and coordination of complex and timely activities.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of IT and OT architectures and how to secure these architectures against cyber threats.
- Ability to explore market potentials and identify new commercial opportunities.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- Good cultural understanding.
