Senior Process Engineer | Golar LNG

Golar LNG is preparing to bring our newest FLNG MKII into operation. We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to take responsibility for the performance and condition of the topsides and process systems. The role is initially part of the pre-ops team for the MK II FLNG project to set up the FLNG with requirements for operations. The position will continue in supporting the FLNG in operation after the FLNG enters commercial operation.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor daily process activities and production with a focus on efficiency

• Assess the operation and condition of process equipment

• Support planning of production, maintenance, and TARs (Turnarounds)

• Provide technical support to the FLNG and Asset Teams

• Carry out offshore visits and audits to ensure compliance with procedures and contracts

• Follow up maintenance activities, MOC processes, and improvement work

• Support the Asset Manager with budgeting and cost control

• Review reports from the Liquefaction department and ensure proper follow-up

• Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a process engineer in oil & gas operations., ideally in FPSO or FLNG operations

• Knowledge of offshore operations, topside processes, and maintenance systems

• Ability to balance day-to-day operations with longer-term improvements

• Fluent written and spoken English

• Clear communication and teamwork skills

• Structured and safety-focused approach
