Andalusite is known for its unique mosaic of colours, including kiwis, cherries, chocolates, golds, oranges, and lemons. Due to its remarkable pleochroism effect, the stone is highly valued by collectors. This Gem is considered is a great choice for everyday jewellery due to its unusual appearance and its durability (7 – 7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale).
