Fastens with five decorative metallic buttons to the front, all buttons in place. The hardware consists of gorgeous, heavy dome buttons with an antiqued gold swirl motif that echoes the patterns on the fabric.
Patterned. Mix of multi-toned faux-zebra animal print layered with large, opulent baroque medallions. Multicoloured, beautiful warm tone palette. Featuring browns, black, beige, yellows, ochre, and orange-toned red. High-fashion runway aesthetic heavily inspired by iconic late 80s and early 90s Italian luxury designers.

This blouse captures an explosive, short-lived fashion phenomenon: The Medallion Boom. Inspired by high-end 1989 Italian runway trends, this exact mix of animal print and bright gold Renaissance scrollwork trickled down to British manufacturers by 1990–1991, before disappearing by 1994 with the rise of 90s minimalism.
The premium construction uniquely defines this turn-of-the-decade era. It features heavy, decorative cast-metal swirl dome buttons paired with a fluid, lightweight 100% viscose drape. This stands in stark contrast to mid-to-late 90s pieces, when factories shifted to cheaper plastic buttons and synthetic blends to cut costs. A gorgeous, high-quality slice of fashion history!
Preloved. Shows some signs of wear. Please see the pictures, the most noticeable is a small part of the hemline where the seam has opened for less than one centimetre — easy fix with a few needle moves but please be informed about this, this is the reason for marking as Synlig Brukt. Otherwise in great condition.
